Aditya Patel, MD, is a 2006-Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. His postgraduate training includes his postdoctoral research associateship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, KY (2006-2007), followed by his anesthesiology residency served at Saint Barnabas Medical Center (2007-2011) and his clinical fellowship in pain medicine performed at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (2011-2012). He served as Chief Resident in Anesthesiology during his final year. Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate education, i.e. his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience, at the University of California, San Diego, in 2002.
